Halloween Cameo Caper 2013 Central Hub

With Razor jumping the gun this year and taking me by surprise... not that hard actually, considering my current workload, I was behind with setting up the Hub Site for this years caper...

But behold! Here it is! The Halloween Cameo Caper 2013 Central Hub!!

... or the basics of it at least, I hope to get the layout made a bit niftier over the coming days, though veterans from previous years know how we usually go with it in the end

Also, because of the, relatively, success of the Webcomic Hub for the Caper last year, I will get working on that too...

Great to see this one taking to the road once again!

Heh, you must have missed when I said I've been running my Caper storylines for some time now. You can't pull up Drunk Duck to see it, but I started on Karabear Comics Unlimited last month, and Wonder Team and Fiendish Fellowship started at the beginning of this month.

Heh, you must have missed when I said I've been running my Caper storylines for some time now. You can't pull up Drunk Duck to see it, but I started on Karabear Comics Unlimited last month, and Wonder Team and Fiendish Fellowship started at the beginning of this month.

Missed? Yeah, that should be pretty apparent by now

Yeah, I fully and completely missed everything except Razor's recent statement, and the fact that I've not even been able to keep up with a running crossover really shows how much I've fallen behind in the long run...

Truth to be told, work has been draining me over the last couple of months, most of the year actually, and I've been struggling to keep up with the Archive, Webcomics Offline and sometimes just webcomics in general... things are looking better now, but I've already lost out on so much, just hoping I will get back and catch up...

That said, its a given that whenever I'm involved in something, people are always welcome to and encouraged to prod me when I seems to be miss out on something or not do what I am expeced to... its the best way to keep me to the fire and ensure that I do what I have to... and I WANT to do just that!

Okay, by now I should have updated the Hub with Fiendish Fellowship and will start working on Wonder Team tonight, meaning I should have caught up with before the end of the weekend, save Karabear which DD keep me from getting access to...

Once again, I'm really sorry I've missed out here and fallen behind, I promised to keep a better eye out from now on

Okay, amazingly enough I've managed to keep the Caper Hub up to date (save Karabear), and I've even begun making some progress on the Webcomic Hub for the Caper...

Amazingly enough I seem to be keeping up with the Caper Hub AND catching up on the Webcomic Hub as well!

As always, if anyone got a better idea of where the various strips fits into a continuity (however much there tends to be in the Caper...), DO let me hear your suggestion

Well, some notes: your link to page 13 of Fiendish Fellowship in the archive goes to page 12. You seem to also have missed page 14 of that comic. Also, the beginnings of the Fiendish Fellowship and Wonder Team issues are happening in parallel. If anything, Wonder Team entered the world first (as per the previous issue, they ran through the portal to escape Shai'tan's ship, with Shai'tan's troops behind them). Also the latest pages of Wonder Team and Fiendish Fellowship (pages 41 and 14, respectively) are happening at the same time, as a cameo indicates.

Okay, I went ahead and got the Caper Hub updated yesterday (off course, just before L&D's update...).

And yes, I decided to add L&F, linking to its smackjeeves host for now, I'll just have to redo the links when (if) DD returns since thats that the main site.

And again, I was thinking about doing the same with Karabear, adding and linking the strips from your (Ave's) DA account (which I HAVE on the watch, just haven't had the time to follow up on, and hence missed the Caper updates...) for now, ensuring that people at least can keep up through the Hub...!?

The annoying thing with the Karabear updates on deviantART is that they only include some. Any page I had uploaded on Drunk Duck isn't there. This includes the lead-up (where the Grand Vizier convinces my characters to go to his "garden party", where he can imprison them--the "party" is simply getting them to the candy world and forcing them to entertain him) and some of the pages in the candy world. Not to mention, they aren't in color.

Yeah, I can see thats a bother, especially for the continuity

I wouldn't mind adding what we got now, then fixing links & thumbnails once DD has (hopefully) returned and you've gotten to colouring the pages, that way any readers can at least catch up a bit while the Caper takes place.

I've tried dealing with these issues, fixing the first and making a slight change in the order of appeareance on the Webcomic Hub, now Wonder Team appears first, followed by Shaitans forces a bit later.
Though it would be horrible to the continuity if we jumpe back and forth between the two comics, even though they take place almost at the same time, I've tried collecting them in "blocks" so we will be able to follow both teams until they interact... both with each others and the other arrivals, like D.D.S.R. which has founds its place in the storyline now.

I've almost caught fully up on the Webcomic Hub, but don't hesiate to tell if you feel the strips can be arranged better to make a better history flow.

So, despite this (when it all come to it, not very unsuspected) break, the Halloween Hub is still going strong, almost up to date on a regular basis, even having added Karebear Comics Unltd. as DD finally returned.

Also welcome to Dawn of a New Era 2 and Hey Fox! who also have joined the Caper and thereby the Hub!

... the Webcomic Hub however, is falling behind... I'll do my best to catch up with that one too though.

Hardly unprecedented. I remember in the 2006 Caper Like Fish In Water did one that got included and I don't recall if Mindmistress or Rebound asked to be a part beforehand.
