Once again I defy common sense & decide to take part in the Caper.
The usual suspects will be coming Gertrude & Brunhilda.
And as we are supposed to also supply a potential murderer... well, as I really didn't have anybody who could seriously fill that role I've created one Reidar Burnaby and I'll try to get a comic featuring him done up.

Re: The KAMics once more unto the breach
KAM, I was thinking--I sent the Gunman into a coffee shop with the Swimmer and the Runner listening in. I want him to meet with somebody and suggest that he may have been the killer, hired by the one he's meeting. It would be nice to use Reidar in this instance. The thing would be that Reidar contracted the Gunman for something, which may have been the murder in Tyrion. Granted, I do have an idea for what it could be otherwise (specifically, that he had the Gunman kill key political dignitaries in a "Dogverse" to incite a civil war and keep that place off the squirrels' back) and wouldn't want to negate the idea that Reidar could be the actual Tyrion killer (just add a wrinkle that he may have contracted it, or may have done it himself).

Yeah, that sounds fine.
Oh, if anyone wanted their characters to run into the girls, the basic premise I'm going with is that when they decided to investigate Gertrude thought she'd be like Holmes with Brunhilda as her Watson, but Brunie didn't want to be a Watson, so they are investigating separately, Gertrude in a Holmes-esque manner (possibly trying to recruit a Watson) and Brunhilda in a hard-boiled manner. Have fun with it.

Hey! You could weave the mistaken identity bit that I'm trying to run with for Fox into that if you wanted the Gunman or somebody else to try to blame Fox for what happened - that is - if they think he's an agent from the "dog-verse" and want to throw him off the trail.
Just a thought.

Or I could have him mention something about "the grey ones" of the dogs--therefore tying into your initial idea.
