Okay, I decided that since I used the same effect with the Squirrelgirls, I needed something else here... as you can see in the changed image... hope that one is accepted too?

Since my characters were all over the place, I'll start with a description of what happened overall, then go into character descriptions (posting later).

From the P.S.I. Universe: (A Pessimistic Sense of Inadequacy and Jenny Everywhere and the Crossing Over Worlds)

Fes and Ernst were minding their own business, trying to fight an evil spirit bent on world domination, while Nemi was being resurrected to help.

Suddenly, they were interrupted by some squirrels (From Candi) and squirrel girls (Gertrude and Brunhilda, from The KAMics) falling through a couple of portals. Scale's bracelet (used to comic jumping) was left behind, and Gertrude and Brunhilda left. Soon after, Scale (from CameoComic) showed up. Before long, Fes, Ernst, and Nemi were on an undercover mission to rescue Scale's creators (Hogan, Caitlin, and Matt, from CameoComic).

In the meantime, a Jenny Everywhere was using her 6th sense to find adventure and "shift" to said universe with said adventure. Little did she know she was being woven into background plot of The Crossover Wars. She was discovered by Jason Fellback (from Evil Overlords United), whom had collected a jar of Webcomic Awareness. He used it on Jenny in hopes to throw her off from pursuing the adventure. Jenny ended up having an identity crisis, questions free will and fate, and sets on a path of self-discover and the meaning of life (for herself).

During this time, Fesworks (inserted author of P.S.I.) was trying to do what he could to help out with the Crossover Wars, while also trying to maintain P.S.I. Soon, Corporal Max Catnap (from Evil Overlords United) came to investigate, eventually setting on a path after Fes, Ernst, and Nemi. After this, Fesworks worked to put together another force (The Fur Brigade) and arming Nemi, Fes, and Ernst with real pencils. All in a bid to fight the EOU and rescue captured webcomic character.

Meanwhile, Jenny is shifting from a large number of webcomic worlds, and growing as a character and person, eventually meets up with Chaos (from Life and Death) who helps to put things into perspective and kick her ass into gear. He directs her to the Evil Overlords United headquarters are, in which....

Fes, Nemi, and Ernst succeeded in rescuing Hogan and Caitlin, and ended up in a fight with Corporal Max Catnap, but Max is teleported away by a malfunctioning comic jumping bracelet. They soon meet up with Jenny Everywhere and proceed to break out captured webcomic characters.

Meanwhile Fesworks and The Fur Brigade (of which little exists in comic form), enter the main battle of The Crossover Wars, flanking android armies while other webcomic protagonists fight. Fesworks is injured with a pencil shattering his hand, and bleeds a lot. He manages to find Scale, whom had passed out after defeating The Editor.

Fes, Nemi, and Ernst arrive on the scene to meet Hogan, Caitlin, Scale, and Fesworks just as he passes out. He pulls through with non-canon help from Ardra (from Ardra), and is surrounded by his characters, making him nervous. Nemi lays into him about her being a character with a horrible back story of pain and loss, and hits him. Fesworks admits he deserved that, and they all go back to P.S.I. and Fesworks begins to answer questions when...

Jenny Everywhere meets up with them and begins to lay into Fesworks as well. Jenny more or less has closure and ventures out on her own.

A dedicated, powerful spirit from times passed. Charged with protecting a magickal armor, which has been in pieces and missing for centuries. One day she meets up with Fes and Ernst, and things get more complicated.

Self-inserted author of P.S.I., never meant to get involved with story canon until The Crossover Wars forced him to. Spends his time trying to make things right, while having to face his creations. He doesn't think about consequences for his actions, until he actually has to face them.

Jenny Everywhere (PSI)
Jenny Everywhere is an adventure seeking, fun and tough girl, who can also shift between universes and realities. Now she has to come to terms with the prospect of not having freewill and being a fictional character in a webcomic.

For that matter, should the Project ADAM sequence where Gertrude & Brunhilda destroy the EOU device belong in the Prologue? Given that that action led to Catnap encountering furry Jenny it would seem to belong there as well as in the Squirrel Wars.

I believe the intent is to tell new readers who the characters were, & any pertinent backstory, before the wars began.

Basically someone who only read a few of the featured comics would suddenly get exposed to a whole bunch of unfamiliar characters, so the idea is to give newcomers an idea of who is who so they could follow the story & understand major points that might be tied to character interactions, or older stories, that they might not have read.

The Forum Wars can be an... interesting challenge to break down. I think first we have to describe the three groups.

"Bunnies are forumites for the Comic El Goonish Shive."

"Boardies are forumites for the comic College Roomies From Hell!!!"

"Wotchers are forumites for the comic The Wotch."

Followed by some description of the different groups, what is Mayhem, what is FLEET, etc.

Then probably a list of participants under which group they belonged to.

So I believe you'd be under Bunnies & probably of brief description of yourself (wolf? werewolf? something else?) & how you fit in with your forum.

At least, that's my understanding of this project.

I'm currently, ah, 'curating' a massive guide to exactly what happened in the Forum Wars, so I'd be happy to help with any sort of documentation project with regards to that part of it.

Didn't realize I was part of the Sci-Fi Wars, had to look & see what comics were there.

Looks like most of the SMOG strips are there so I'll try to give some bios of all of them & let you decide who needs a listing.

Albert Quad - Chief tester of SMOG's technology, Albert is a clone of Doc Unopoculum. He has cybernetic implants, an upbeat personality & loves women.

Albert "Doc" Unopoculum - Main designer of SMOG's equipment, original tester of its gates. Once spent 10 years in a fast dimension while a week passed for the rest of SMOG. A founding member of SMOG.

Alzan - A genie who works as SMOG's legal counsel. A founding member of SMOG.

Obbie S. Myth - An elf who is head of security for SMOG. He lost an eye years earlier & his goggles are designed to give him binocular vision as well as detect electrical & magic energy. A founding member of SMOG.

QLT - A machine intelligence & currently the chairman of SMOG'S board of directors. A founding member of SMOG.

Soiyan C'ia - Last survivor of a world where the descendants of dinosaurs became intelligent instead of humans & developed magic. A founding member of SMOG.

Sunshine Marigold - Beautiful & deadly, comes from a world where rabbits became intelligent. A founding member of SMOG.

Trevor Soup - From a race of snake-tailed beings which use unintelligent humanoids as carriers. A founding member of SMOG.

Did I ever mention that I got the name Trevor Soup from mixing around the letters in Steve Troop's name? (Not strictly an anagram though.)

... as for now I just added as many as I could remember of the fly, this update took most of the evening to complete...

The Bracelet was apart of the Squirrel Wars... which is also what PSI was apart of... until they met and left with Scale, then they were apart of Scale's Tale.... then when they got to the EOU.... I dunno...
