EGSDF Fleet Admiral Johnstone reporting for duty, after a long leave of absence.

Seriously, I haven't posted on Mayhem for months. I've been gone so long I even went and changed my preferred handle from Jstone to DatabaseError! The return of a proper EOU storyline is awesome enough that it might rekindle my interest in posting on the forum.

In this week's evil overlords :
Has Deception lost his mind?
Will he lose a leg?
Will he walk with a pegleg?
Will he be long John Deccy?

Give us your scenario!

Hmmm, no, he's not going to uses marshmallows as leg protectors... anyway the blade would only make dozens of them as it would go throught the first one.

Oh no, I know he's not going to use Marshmallows as leg protectors. Their tendency to multiply aside, dust and lint is never a good medium for stopping a blade (could they stop the blade in another way? Yes, but let's ignore that for now). Besides, where would they come from? As far as I'm concerned he caught all the ones that were created when it and Author had their surprise visit; unless he's keeping one or two as pets in his locker, there shouldn't be any more in that particular Wal-Mart. And if one that he had caged at Aggie's escaped and stowed away in his pants pocket, it would've multiplied countless times just from the pressure created while Deccy walks around. Heck, there would've been a whole army of Marshmallows following behind him like little puppies just from the bike-ride to work! Deccy would've noticed.

Anyways. Right leg, just above the ankle... Yeah, I think I know what Deccy is gonna do.

Oooh... I think I'm on the same line of thoughts as Mae! :D

... which is kind of scarry now that you think of it :?

Else it wouldn't be the first time Deccy had miscalculated... coming up next, whats hardest? Leg vs. Buzzaw! :D

That's not Deccy's leg that stopped it. Unless Phil forgot to draw Deception's pants on his leg in panel 5, which I doubt. :) Which now begs the question as to WHO'S arm/leg that it was that stopped it.

Hm... I guess I was under the assumption that the pant leg was partially torn/ripped away by the saw (I've seen similar things happen with shirt-sleeves and table-saws) before it came in contact with the collar.

The saw looks like it was already ripping through his pants in panel three... whoever it is that swapped limbs with Deccy is -fast-.

Technically... panel 5 is the inside of Deception's pants.... if it would have been in colour it would have made more sense... probably should have at least put grey in it... but I draw those as I work, so I don't have that much time ^^;

Aaah... so I WAS thinking in the right direction :)

... and on the same lines as Mae

Wonder if Deccy believed his status would be greater than Buzzaw's so he could deflect his weapons...?

Who or what is "Author"
http://eou.comicgenesis.com/d/20090805.html
http://eou.comicgenesis.com/d/20090826.html
and why does it have no face?

And is it really doing obvious magic -- without checking to make sure the area is clear -- in a world that is established (by previous comic of Aggie) as one where magical people stay hidden, outnumbered several thousand to 1.
"So my Mom left me a huge heap of molding, rotten, decaying, puss-dripping zombies ... How cool is that?"

"So what is your advice to me?"
"Stop doing stupid crap."

I think the changes have something to do with Phil having taken over, obviously when a new artist moves in on another's turf, even temporary, the rules are going to change... that or we are now longer in Aggie's world, but even she wasn't sure about that actually :|

Continuing the tail -f deccy.green

http://eou.comicgenesis.com/d/20090930.html

1. Who or what is the greeter? (where did I miss him?)
2. This co-worker isn't surprised by this
3. The co-worker isn't too surprised by (is that Marshmallow? Why is there more than one of her?)
4. Yet a couple of strips earlier http://eou.comicgenesis.com/d/20090909.html she was surprised by all this.

None of this was resolved/explained by the time the halloween story starts up.
