All that is true. However, with very few exceptions, the Forumworlds that are found on the fringes of Comicworls have no influence in said comics. The Forum Wars was a major exception, which unfortunately underlined the reason that Forums shouldn't influence the story. Or at least not actively.Stardrake wrote:TheGuyBehindTheKeyboard wrote:Yes and no - it's certainly the weakest means of influencing the comic-related multiverse from our own, but it is a means of doing so. It would also allow the insertion of agents into a forumverse without having to recruit an author's character from another comic. Instead, he could directly empower a character in the universe in question.
He'd probably get caught if he tried it in one of the Mayhemverses, but not all forumverses lacks Reader tags or other properties of the close reader-character relationship that a lot of Mayhem-native reader-empowered characters have. As long as the character he empowers doesn't actually take Deception or a derivative as their alias, of course...
EO Epilogue - Deception's Tail
I have to say that Angie has fully lose it. While I can see letting Aura see some of her e-mails for what ever reason. I don't think it was a good idea to allow Deception to see any of the e-mails for any reason considering he still has his evil overlord personality. And it was a very bad idea to make it easy to find confinial e-mails like that.
That depends on which 'Reality-Level' of Aggie you are talking about. The sexy woman in the nightgown that rescued Deception is asleep, so doesn't have that much say in the matter. No doubt her computer has good quality security, but it is still far below the tech level the Deccy is used to, so cracking it was a cake walk.invinible wrote:I have to say that Angie has fully lose it. However, if you are talking about the other higher Reality-Level Aggie, the one that drew that comic, then no, she has nothing to worry about, for obvious reasons.

Franky I think Aggie, no matter the version (as I think we can agree on the walls here becoming so blurred that even Aggie herself is confused), misjudged the situation and what it could imply when she on a whim took in the wounded Deception for whatever nefarious plans she has for him.
Now, to see what Deception and Aura will make out of the information they got...

Hmm, deccy needs a job. How about Dragon to an Evil Overlord?Hogan wrote:Or Girlscout... oh, wait a minute...Ti-Phil wrote:Deception with a job? I do not suggest cattle watcher.

Anywho, there is one crucial piece of information that is being withheld. What exactly happened when Aggie & Deccy went to that strip club? Inquiring minds need to know.

Just wanted to note, since so much were lost in the hack & Crash, that due to real life, Aggie has had to put Deception's Tail on indefinite hiatus... but rest assured that Walmart will take good care of your resident Draconic Overlord in the meantime
In the meantime, check out Aggie's comic: American Gothic Daily (mildly NSFW) to get your weekly dose of Aggie-Art.

I find these events both surprising and disturbing. However, this is a flashback, so Deccy is still on the loose after this encounter. This is a good thing.Hogan wrote:So, Deception is free an working "hard" in Walmart, but has been discovered by Forumites The Author and Marsmellow! O.o![]()

I know I was bitterly disappointed when the main story ended; I'd imagine that at least some other people were as well. So I think you have a good amount of people who are... glad? excited? that there's some activity going on (not that I'm ignoring Zworge's backstory; it's activity, but in a different direction), and I'm willing to bet that Wednesday mornings there's at least a few who are now up VERY early and cursing the computer for not starting up fast enough. >_> <_< Well, I already have to be up for work at 4:00am on Wednesdays... I just get up ten-fifteen minutes earlier now.Ti-Phil wrote:I'm glad so many seems to react to Deception's misadventures.

I hope you all enjoyed this little chapter involving two forumites. What awaits Deception now that he "kidnapped" Marshmallows and that Author will probably tell the people of Fort Mayhem his location? Fwe he he he... let's just say the Wal-Mart Wars is coming!
What..free publicity cannot harm anyone...right?

Seriously though, I can't wait for that arc. However, I wonder if Deccy is smart enough to realize this and prepare accordingly?

I'm more than happy to help get in touch with Mayhem bunnies if it's needed. Although I thought Author was more a Wotcher, wouldn't he tell them first?

Re: EO Epilogue - Deception's Tail
Well, remember that this is still when the Wotchers and Boardies were working in conjunction with each other. There's a solid chance he'd simply tell em both at once.ChroniclerC wrote:I'm more than happy to help get in touch with Mayhem bunnies if it's needed. I don't know how active they are these days, having moved places and all, but they had a stake in against the Overlords too
