Avalon High School cameo in It's Walky!
Avalon High School makes a cameo in It's Walky! during the Anomalie storyline. Unfortunately itswalky.com's drop-down menu isn't working. so I can't point to the exact strips.

You don't have to, I got it covered!GrassyNoel wrote:Avalon High School makes a cameo in It's Walky! during the Anomalie storyline. Unfortunately itswalky.com's drop-down menu isn't working. so I can't point to the exact strips.
Damn! You should think I would remember to include such an obvious reference, especially since it's one of my favorite storylines!
Well, to my credit it was never officially declared that the story took place in Avalon, though everybody just KNEW it!
It'll be added, thanks for pummeling me with the notify!
I don't know whether or not this counts as a cameo/reference, since the author is in doubt himself.

To be on the safe side... both are added to the archive!Anonymous wrote:I don't know whether or not this counts as a cameo/reference, since the author is in doubt himself.

Gender-swapping and 4th-wall breaking... yep, references to the mentioned comics indeed!

Today's Freefall has a reference to The Legend of Anne Bunny. On the menu in the second panel is the Anne Bunny Burger.
However a permanent link to that comic probably won't be up till Wednesday. (I tried typing in what should be the archived link, http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff1200/fv01138.htm, but got a 404 instead.)

Continuing with the Funnyfarm cameos, there's an old Cameo page. I don't think it's been updated recently (if necessary) and many of the links are dead (including those FusionD which you've already listed. Since you've started adding artist cameos you may be interested in the only (as far as I'm aware) known likeness of Ryan Smith as seen by David Willis.
As for cameos in Funnyfarm there are a few of fellow artists in some guest strips by Yamcha Hibiki/Robbie Allen (I think). I believe the title is "Pomography", but all of Keenspot is misbehaving at the moment so I can't check. I'll post the a link later if necessary.

Here we go:
Frame 1: The theatre clerk is Ryan Smith himself
Frame 2: I don't know who this guy is, but I've seen those eyes depicted elsewhere.
Frame 4: Judging by the Hawaii shirt the guy in front might be Steve Troop.
I'm puzzled as to whether this guy is merely random beefcake or a nod to somebody. Confirmation wanted, I suppose.

No doubt about the Troop there!Anonymous wrote:Here we go:

The one in the second panel looks awfully lot like Tedd from El Goonish Shive, but his glasses are not quite right...
Now... do cameos in a guest storyline count? Normally I would say no, but since it's a whole storyline that mostly keeps true to the characters, I think it counts... added it will be!
For the random beefcake... sure looks like its meant to be somebody special, but who?
Yes, I knew about the cameo-page from the site, and have been adding from it, but FusionD dies before I was even halfway through
Thanks for bringing up the strip!
And KAM... welcome to the forum... you'll be the death of me sooner or later!

White Pony of Cross Time Café appears in Code Name: Hunter & The Stick Figure Dragons
Florence Ambrose of Freefall appears in The Stick Figure Dragons

E Motel has a cameo page telling when & where he used other characters in his strip and one cameo a character of his had in another.
Also friday's Darken has some more cameos as well as a new address to avoid the Keenspace/Comic Genesis change, but her Drunk Duck address stays the same.
BTW have you noticed that the list of comics on the Archive is not quite in alphabetical order?

Yeah, that name-change are sure going to bug meKAM wrote: Also friday's Darken has some more cameos as well as a new address to avoid the Keenspace/Comic Genesis change, but her Drunk Duck address stays the same.
I hope they end up setting automatically redirect from the keenspace-adresses, or they'll use millions of links to their comics... only time can tell
Yes, I do once in a while note that something is amiss, and I try to correct them as fast as possible. They happen whenever I throw new comics in and am not all too keeneyed (read: too tired)KAM wrote: BTW have you noticed that the list of comics on the Archive is not quite in alphabetical order?
Thanks for the new bunch of links, I'll update them along the way together with the rest on my list!

A lot of people seemed to be bugged about it.Hogan wrote:Yeah, that name-change are sure going to bug me
Several Keenspacers have gotten their own domains to avoid it.
But that would mean that Keenspot would actually have to give a damn.Hogan wrote:I hope they end up setting automatically redirect from the keenspace-adresses
Do you have to do it manually or is there a handy sort button?Hogan wrote:Yes, I do once in a while note that something is amiss, and I try to correct them as fast as possible. They happen whenever I throw new comics in and am not all too keeneyed (read: too tired)

You're welcome.
Hoo boy!
Monday’s Darken has a reference to Golden, as well as characters from LinT, Feyenne, Flatwood, True Magic, No Rest For The Wicked, The Jaded and/or The Longest Sojourn.
I don’t read those comics so I don’t know who’s who or which specific comic they come from.

Well *rolls up his sleeves* lets get to work... sooner or later I'll have them all added!
They did, but so far I have no intentions of adding them... I have plenty of work already thank you... and thanks to you!KAM wrote:Didn't Keenspace use to have some special crossover comics around holidays like say Halloween & New Year's?
Not sure if you would want to count those or even if they are still archived anywhere, but I thought I'd mention it.
