Got it added to the Hub!MOrganArt wrote:Part 2 is up http://www.drunkduck.com/Pr0nCrest/?p=740747

... and since noboby was complaining and since I was pretty satisfied with the new layout (especially considering my skills at html and the odds for ever getting something better up), I went ahead and updated the Squirrel Wars part too!

I even managed to update the dead links to Project A.D.A.M.'s parts of this storyline along the way.
I was also contemplating adding more to the Candi-Epilogue as suggested by... Keybounce I think it was, but I decided against it at this point since I would have to go that far back in the Candi-era that it wouldn't really be a part of the Wars...
Now there are two Sub-Hubs to play with to find an effective way of showcasing the strips!

Suggestions and similar will, as always, be appreciated

Re: The Crossover Wars Central Hub
Off-hand I the only thing I can think of would be maybe some kind of Who's Who list & a What Went Before type of thing filling in people who aren't familiar with the comics in question.
Could be a simple text thingy with links.
Fer instance...
Menjou is the flying, telepathic ferret from Candi. He is at odds with the Squirrel Mafia.
Ratatosk is the self-appointed God of the Squirrels in The KAMics warped version of Norse mythology. He is angry at Gertrude because she chopped off the tip of his tail after he spread lies about her.
Gertrude & Brunhilda are sisters & ex-valkyries.
The amulet first appeared in The Switch storyline of M.Organ Art.
Loki from The KAMics usually appears as a shadowy figure with horns.
Something like that.

Hmm... not a bad suggestion, would help people who do not know the comics involved up front to get the Cliff's Notes easily and perhaps better their reading-experience of the storyline...KAMics wrote:Off-hand I the only thing I can think of would be maybe some kind of Who's Who list & a What Went Before type of thing filling in people who aren't familiar with the comics in question.

A who's who introduction like that would have to compiled by others though, I cannot promise I'll have the time to get it together, but I would set it up and change whatever was demanded as it went along...
Lets set up a thread for this, working on the current two updated storylines, the Squirrel Wars and the Adult Wars ands see what readers & artists in combination can get together

I'm trying to understand how/why this is considered adult only.
Other than one panel where two girls are changing shirts, which might get an R or PG-15, what is considered wrong with this?

"So my Mom left me a huge heap of molding, rotten, decaying, puss-dripping zombies ... How cool is that?"
"So what is your advice to me?"
"Stop doing stupid crap."

Re: The Crossover Wars Central Hub
Well, of the 5 latest strips of Pr0nCrest By M.Organ to go up, M. Organ only marked two of them as NSFW (Not Safe For Work), and that was because of the booby-content which, when it comes down it, would be a reason for not checking it out at you workplace, library etc. where such showings can have consequences. Other places they don't care, but the warning of NSFW or MA is put up, just to be sure... then properly warned, the reader can decided whether to follow the link or not...Keybounce wrote:I'm trying to understand how/why this is considered adult only.

In the Hub and in the Archive I make sure to label any link leading to a webcomic with mature content as MA, no matter if the strip at the end of the link contains said content... you never know if people are clicking on and suddenly are faced with more mature content than at first was encountered... call it a public service

My personal levels for marking a comic or link MA is noted in the FAQ of the Archive...
Edit: And the Hub properly updated!

Okay, for fairness sake I should have added... "...when I get the time", but off course, then it would not happen before around 2017...KAMics wrote:And where exactly did you set up that thread?Hogan wrote:A who's who introduction like that would have to compiled by others though, I cannot promise I'll have the time to get it together, but I would set it up and change whatever was demanded as it went along...

Possibly NSFW.
Since I last posted we had Page 7 http://www.drunkduck.com/Pr0nCrest/index.php?p=740752 & Page 8 http://www.drunkduck.com/Pr0nCrest/?p=740753
BTW on the Crossover Wars page you have Page 2 before Page 1.

Re: The Crossover Wars Central Hub
Thanks for keeping us up to date M. ... and sorry for me being behind in updating the Hub
Everything should be up and fixed by now, another part being added to the general storyline... anyone letting me know if the flow is off at this point!
And people reading this thread... DO go to the particular comic site and give your comments on the pages.. if you got a DD-login that is
The Hub only links to internal strips because of the above mentioned login, but I think both M. and Kennatsu would enjoy any commenting to go!

LOL!
It is weird when I have to apologize for doing comics NOT featuring nudity or sex.
"I'm... I'm sorry *whimper* It's perfectly clean... Please forgive me!"

Some links not working.
Repository Of Dangerous Things, Cortland, Zortic & the link to Detective Fork took me to Drunk Duck's front page (although Detective Fork is still on the Duck your link just wasn't right.)
