Who said he did/will?Philosopher wrote:I am willing to help on the war front. Also if the Editor doesn't trust anyone then how would the Editor betray himself?

Philosopher wrote:No one said the Editor would betray himself. The Editor said he trusted no one though. So if the Editor doesn't trust himself then what would he do to not have his own trust besides betray himself.
Um... dude. That's not making any sense at all. YOU said the Editor would betray himself.Philosopher wrote:I am willing to help on the war front. Also if the Editor doesn't trust anyone then how would the Editor betray himself?
Have you forgotten Mind Mistress? Or the mini-gnomes from Magical Misfits?Net wrote:The eyes narrow.
"ChroniclerC, you're almost right. It wasn't a single battle that decided the war, it was one single attack that decided the war. Everything hinged upon that one axe throw." His voice grew contemplative. "Though as to whether we were winning or not really is a matter of your point of view. We doing well, I admit, but there were missteps here and there we could have done better with. The forum wars, for example... if we had left them alone, the battle would have been far easier, just for one example. Not to mention the forumites WERE the only ones ever able to penetrate our home defenses."
Godwin's Law states a comparison will be made at some point, not that it means anything. So who's the Fail now?ChroniclerC wrote:Godsdamnitall. Godwin's Law. Way to [FAIL], Philosopher.
Your analogy is so far off I just don't know where to begin.ChroniclerC wrote:Just because it will happen eventually doesn't mean it should be any less avoided. You wouldn't go and commit suicide just because "we all die eventually", would you? (Yes, I prescribe to the pessimistic version of Godwin's Law.)
Cizar Wilhelm, maybe? Trouble is, Hitler is the most obvious figure for what you're looking for. However, I don't think the analogy applies to the Editor. He didn't attack beyond his reach. In fact, his preferred method of conquest was to aid factions within the target comic.Philosopher wrote:I really don't like to break the law. Also name a figure with the mistakes I am looking for!
Again, the Editor's forces were winning the final battle. If it wasn't for Eddy's accident, he would have won it.Philosopher wrote:I will admit I don't know who Cizar Wilhelm is, but I still think the Editor made that mistake. Think about it, a huge army of characters that the Editor wronged came back for vengeance. The Editor dies and then his forces are defeated. I will consider the major mistake to be that the Editor didn't have a plan b or The Editor might have been micromanaging.
I think you mean Kaiser Wilhelm II.Amon Star wrote:Again, the Editor's forces were winning the final battle. And Cizar Wilhelm was the guy in charge of Germany when WW1 started.
