Now taking all bets!
Alright, betting table is open, closest guess to how long the "doomed" timeline will survive from THIS COMIC ON (250), Will win a prize.
So, just post in this format:
# of strips they will survive: (Your guess.)
In Character bet: (Something you'd be willing to give/do in character for the winner, the less worthwile the bet, the less your actual win will be. And you might just have to do what the bet is too. Depends on who wins, what their bet was, how close they were, and if they even want it.)
Of course, I don't know if I'll hold you to the In character bet thing, I just figured I'd have that instead of fake money. People tend to place millions or billions, even trillions of fake $ in bets they lose every day, and I'm against that. (Though thousands of fake $ is fine.)
But seriously...
# of strips:
At least do that, the other part of the bet is off the top of my head, and mainly for humor.
Also, Non-Related strips do not count tword the strip count.
My guess: 9 Strips
My bet: Will teach the winner's character (Only one), how to do spellcrafting IC. If the character cannot use magic for some reason, will instead invent something to help them, depending on character specifics.
And i'm willing to keep my bet.
(To clarify, I'm talking about the EGS Mayhem in my Character teaching, though it extends to wherever your characters are.)

I think eight.
My bet? A duplicate of Emmet's truth vision, capable of seeing the truth underneath illusions and holograms, in goggle of glasses form. (Monocle is also an option) It would be a bit like the Eye of Truth from Legend of Zelda.

Truthfully, I don't know if we were going to count it or not. Because I said "From this comic on" I think we were.
Anyway, Amon can speak to me about his prize from me. I'll have to work out with him on if he wants the spellcrafting for a character taught, or an item made. (That item will be sent through the Null-Space delivery, as Jaxom is still in a portal from the CW a while ago... If you choose spellcrafting, I've got another trick up my sleeves...)

Wo-hoo! So close, too.littlebeast wrote:I'm going to assume we are counting #250, in which case...
Amon wins! With a total of 13 strips.
Tricky one, that. It can't be for Amon, as he refuses to use power-ups or equipment. At least he did when he came back from wherever the Editor sent him. Durai already has magic, though an item could be useful for him. Sashca is the most likely to need it, so I think I'll pick her, for the spellcrafting.FF7Kotrt wrote:Truthfully, I don't know if we were going to count it or not. Thanks.
BTW, if you haven't been seen in a comic, then it's up to you where the Editor sent you. Also, when you get back.

Alright, if you have YIM, AIM, ect..., we could talk over those about the spellcrafting for Sashca. If not, I can figure out what I want to ask and PM it.Amon Star wrote: Tricky one, that. Also, I am going to appear in a comic, but the person who is going to create it is a "little" slow on getting it going. It'll get done though...
I have AIM, but I only use it when I'm not in a hurry. Therefore, PMing me might be the better option.FF7Kotrt wrote:Alright, if you have YIM, AIM, ect..., we could talk over those about the spellcrafting for Sashca. Ah, I see.
*Hugs Greep* I shall love him & pet him & call him George. Anyway, Kell.Cheez wrote:Congratulations, Amon! *Gives him several chunks of unspecified meat, a bottle of Glowing Boomshine and a greep.*
KELL: Yes daddy?
Please take these & give them to IC Bunny Amon. He can decide what to do with them.
KELL: Sure!
*Kell leaves with stuff*
*Snaps fingers.*
Darn. Oh well, here's four bottles of Cyrus's Strongest Love Potion.
Use it as you will. Sell it, give it away... Putting a few drops onto food gives it a good kick, and shouldn't cause any of the normal effects.
Side effects may include: Nausea, Dizziness, Lightheadedness, Hotheadedness, Restless Knee, Bi Polar, South Polar, Polar Bear Attacks, Cancer, Erectile Dysfunction, Heart Problems, Obsessiveness, Chest Pains, Arm Pains, Pain In The Neck, Depression, and in some cases Death From His/Her Now Ex-Girl/Boyfriend.
Have fun!

Thanks Alex. I really shouldn't risk it, but I'll have to let Kell deliver them.Alex_Mage wrote:*Snaps fingers.*

KELL: You can trust me.
Just remember that the Cortex Bomb works outside Mayhem.
KELL: Yeah, yeah.
