It's weird to think that after all of the planning, the Caper's well on its way and will soon be over. Figuring that it wouldn't hurt to get all of the mileage out of this particular forum while things are still going strong, I was wondering if anyone had thought of any potential crossovers/teamups/references that they'd like to do at some point in the future with some of the other Caper comics?
Any ideas that folks might have can go here... not counting plans for Halloween Cameo Caper 2007, of course. *smiles* Though I'm not sure yet where it would go (well, I might have an idea, actually... but I'm not sure if I want to use it there), I'd love to at some point feature Steve (not to be confused with Pagan Steve)... especially since most of the cast is elsewhere, so only 2 or 3 folks out of my cast wouldn't freak out at seeing the Grim Reaper. Meanwhile, Alex would be like, "Oh... hey, Steve."

Indeed we do. Also, I'm hoping to do some more stuff with KAM's trunk over the next year (for one thing, immediately after Shelterville, my lot wind up trapped in said box), which will hopefully lead to some sort of resolution of the trunk during October next year, possibly as part of or leading to Cameo Caper '07 (which I've already talked to Hogan about, and he says he's keen to run it).
Anyone who's got long-term plans which would potentially involve Drunken Scribblings characters is welcome to do so - just let me know ahead of time!

Hey Fox
Considering the differences in world types an comics, I'm having a hard time thinking of how any lasting links might be made. On the other hand, I like to idea of referential jokes and stuff later on, so if anybody thinks of a way let me know. That being said, the one bit that I have pushed as a running gag in my strip I didn't use here, is the "copywriter fairies." (See here and here) If anybody want's to use these little guys let me know, might be fun! Also, if you have any ideas how I might cross with yours (outside of Shelterville of course).

Well, if you could use a serial-killing penguin (he's possessed by demons. Go figure), then there's always Jorje the Penguin from Ominous Cow Theatre... and there's an upcoming character in Division/bell who's going to be a midget werewolf (and who's in the mafia.)
If I come up with anything, I'll let you know.
(By the way... I love the "Copyright Fairies" bits. At some point I might have to use the Copyright Fairies, and then have something blast them... when everyone wonders why, it'll say "Sorry... they were under copyright." or something like that.)

I actually have a convenient slot in my comic late next year (yus, forward planning for the win!) where the copyright fairies wouldn't just be fittable in, but would be almost necessary. I'll drop you a line when I get round to scripting that bit (hopefully sometime *early* next year - I aim to be miles ahead...)
And serial-killer penguins? GET THEM AWAY FROM ME!!! </penguiphobia>
