Here's how I have this Pr0nCrest Xover going...

Deadly Dia (Dia's ancestor) is in town to hunt down a criminal who has taken something precious from her. Various ideas for cameos include Dia asking for information from the stange new people in town, drinking in a bar with the Valkyries, and at the end when she finally takes out the outlaw, Dea.. er... Steve will be there to do his job. ;)

Oh... and before I forget... the outlaw looks like a certain member of L.A.M.E. :)

Spiffy! 8)

Say... who asked for a villain to interfere with their characters?

You read my mind, Hogan.

Kennatsu, is there any particular reason that your villain might have deliberately tried accessing powerful forces via the ancient cave and the trunk?

Any chance on seeing some Deadly Dia character design, and a design for the villain?

^^ this is all coming together.

Well, the villain isn't really interfering with the other characters, but they might have seen her.

I should have a sketch of "Deadly Dia" soon (as well as the villain).

Oh... and that villain I'm talking is from that era as well. The story between Deadly Dia and the villain is totally unrelated to the crossover story, but Dia will still grill (as in interrogate, or ask a lot of questions) the cameos anyway. :)

As I'm all in favor of having multiple plotlines running in Shelterville at once, I think it's a great idea to have the bad guy and Dia both be from that era and unrelated to the crossover. I also think that it would be cool if some people who aren't already committed to the "cave" story signed on to be interrogated or possibly to help with this plotline (either by helping Dia, or helping the bad guy... possibly without knowing that they were a bad guy, or being led to believe that Dia was the bad one.) That way not everyone will be after the same goal (i.e., everyone goes to the cave, or everyone does something else)... think you might be up for expanding this into a full-blown plot?

Given some of the non-human characters, that should be interesting.

KAM, stop dropping elephants...

I'd be game for letting my characters get involved in that plotline, as they don't really have much to do until the party as yet. Plus, two of them are professionally shifty (Mike is a *profession withheld* and Tink is an outlaw and treasure hunter anyway)...

I was thinking about this & remembered that Sten is unusually attracted to alien (non-Sulpian) women, although if your story is something of a standalone he might not work since he's the least human appearing of the aliens.

On the other hand if this is Dia retelling the stories about her ancestor she might imagine the more inhuman characters looking like odd humans? "Sten was a large, big-headed man with orange skin, & a long tongue..."

Okay, guys. I was supposed to detonate this bomb on the 15, but now I find myself catching up thanks to a lot of setbacks. I have the first 4 up, with the rest on the way. Bear with me while I get things in order. :)
