The 'today's page' thread (Prismatic Vodka)
Well, here we go... with the launch of the new site, I need somewhere new to talk about my comic. Here'll do
18-06-2007: 'Nobody's a nobody'
- Nice message, huh? I believe it's quite important not to forget that 'nobody' should never refer to a person.
- I drew this page in an hour and a half flat. I'm really pleased with the resulting quality.
- Yup, KAM's trunk is back. It doesn't half keep cropping up, huh? I wonder what's up with that?
- Over the last couple of pages I've been trying to communicate things not just with the art and the writing but also with the composition of the pages, and I feel it's really worked with this page; look at how close Mike and Brian seem to be in the middle two panels of the page, compared to how much they're separated while they're discussing two major bones of contention between them (Brian causing Mike to lose his memory, and Mike causing Brian to be a wanted criminal )
That's about it for this one. Hope you like!
EDIT: apparently this was the 400th page of the Drunken Scribblings. I must have done my math wrong...

Anybody reading this at all? Anyone?
Thought not...
Sorry about missing out on making notes for Wednesday's page; I'm a bit ill atm and it got kinda late...
Anyway...
22-06-2007: 'Enemies of MCG?!'
- Well, he had to have pissed some people off at some point along the way, what with the fascism and the genocides...
- Yet again, Brian makes life difficult for the gang by operating his mouth before his brain...

25-06-2007: Fascism again?
- Gah, the poses are so off in the last panel...
- As I keep saying, I'll get to grips with MCG's fascism in due course. I feel it's important to keep reminding people that I'm not taking these ideas for granted, allowing them to pass unanalysed or accepting them (yeah, I'm a little paranoid about people mistaking me for a fascist. It comes from being British and middle-class ^_--)
- I finally drew a pirate in a bicorne hat! With epaulets, no less! I'm running out of pages of this chapter, so I suppose it was about time...

Another day, another page (well, almost ^_--)
27/06/07 - 'One more explosion...'
- Chapter's almost over! Soon I will not have to draw helicopters! *happy dance*
- I can't help feeling this page is a cop-out. I don't know why. It just feels like I should have pushed myself more. I think I'm just having an emo day... Slap me if I haven't cheered up by this time tomorrow

AAAAAAaannd we're back in business! I was more than a little worried that I wouldn't managed to start drawing again if I stopped (it's one of the worries that's kept me going the past year ), but it would appear I've kept going;
4/07/07: 'Flying Bears'
- Well, here ends my 'pirate chapter' (every webcomic should have one ^_--). Despite how much I've struggled here and there with it, I'm overall pretty happy with it. I was able to have fun, put some crazy explosions in there, and still dig pretty deep into my key characters.
- Speaking of which, what the hell is up with Mike? Why's he ragging on Brian so hard?
Chapter 10 title page on Friday, new chapter starts Monday!
Also, I'm getting desperate for new glasses and I've still not been paid for some of the work I should have been paid for, so I'm going to running that donations drive after all. Expect a Paypal button and a more formal announcement very soon...
