Darian's Friends RSVP
Hey, everyone.
I would simply love to participate!
My comic is here:
http://dariansfriends.com/comics.php
I haven't decided who I'll be sending, but I'll make sure I post the proper characters in plently of time, including pictures. My entire cast can be seen here:
http://dariansfriends.com/characters.php
There is one minor glitch... In my comic, it is quite important to the story that actual time travel does not happen. There cannot be time travel in the universe of my story... Is it okay if this turns out to be a dream afterward? Or if I present it as a roleplay session or something?
I don't want to offend anybody here by saying that their characters are just a dream...

Yes, welcome aboard Darien!
Looking forward to having your characters join up in the big Halloween celebration!
And as KAM said, it's up to the individual artist if the even shall be cannon or not, so feel free to dream away!
Actaully, some of the participating people could actually gain from being explained away as a nightmare!

For other artists:
I will post an up to date character model for Kori, and his funny cowboy hat (which shows up halfway through shelterville arc) and a photo of the type of motorcycle he drives in the next day or 2.
A further note to artists:
My art style is pixellated. When I draw your characters in my comic, it will be in a pixel art style as well. Conversely, please feel free to adapt Kori to *your* style of art when you use him... ie, don't worry about making him look pixelly. If your characters don't look pixelly, then neither should Kori. Cool? Cool.
P.S. I love you.

You say time travel isn't possible in your comic? It isn't possible in Pr0nCrest either, hence why I have an ancestor of a certain maid in my comic attending this event.

Here is Kori's bike:

It's a 2002 Yamaha YZF-600r
The european name is Thundercat, if thats easier for you.

Ooh... nice bike. I actually used to have a character in an old comic who had a bike kind of like that... though not a 2002, obviously.

Okay, just FYI in case anyone was wondering,
Through painstaking effort (and despite my ridiculous 10hrs/day, 7days/week work schedule!!) I managed to get my comic TOTALLY caught up, in time for my first shelterville strip, which I shall install this evening. The rest of this week's shelterville strips should each be up by midmorning or around noon on the day of, the only reason i'm leaving the 25th's strip until so late today is because I just put up about 7 other strips leading up to it in the past 2 days and I want to make sure my readership is caught up before I thrust them into shelterville.
Thanks, guys.

I should have posted this 7 hours ago, but I put up my first shelterville strip. Enjoy. http://dariansfriends.com/comics.php?id=257
Heh... I tried to draw your character, but something always gets lost when translating from a sprite to a full line drawing.
