Historical question: Pentasmal and 1/0

So after TMA linked to 1/0 from the crossover, I looked over 1/0.

On September 2nd, AD 2000, the internet comic strip called "1/0" also known as "One Over Zero", ... formally declared war upon the internet comic strip called "Pentasmal" ...
The preliminary invasion is scheduled for September 11th. ...

Now, this may be old. Really old. But it looked like it might be a really old and interesting crossover.

Sadly, investigating both strips at the time frame showed basically a single strip of 1/0 showing defeat, with nothing happening over at Pentasmal.

Still, this is a 9/11 attack, a full year before '01. Hmm...

I wasn't into web comics back then. Is there anyone still active here now that remembers this from when it was new?
